This is an engraved sheet of PVC plastic, that I used as a matrix. I already printed something with it, which is why the lines are black. The result is still at my uni, and I don’t know when I’ll get it back if I can get it back at all! Same goes for my earlier wooden matrix: I had intended to show you the results a week or two after posting it, but we had to let them dry in class. :C

Voici une feuille de PVC gravée, que j’ai utilisée comme matrice. J’ai déjà effectué une impression avec, d’où la couleur noire des lignes. Le résulat est toujours à l’uni, et je ne sais pas quand je le récupèrerai ou si ce sera même possible ! C’est la même chanson pour la gravure sur bois que j’ai postée plus tôt : j’avais l’intention de vous montrer les résultats de l’impression une ou deux semaines après, mais nous devions les laisser sécher sur place. :C

Hello there! I’m quickly dropping by between my exams to show you some sketches I drew for my fashion design class during the first semester. I’ll post the coloured versions later after some touch-ups, if you want to see them. ;) I drew five different sets of clothes, but I’m only showing you these three for the time being.

The theme I chose for these was “Birds and flight”, which might not be obvious through these examples alone, but becomes very clear when you put all of my research and the final result together. I got a good grade for this project, I’m happy !

I’ll be in holidays soon, if everything goes according to plan. I hope I’ll be productive this summer!

Salutations ! Je passe ici en coup de vent entre mes examens pour vous montrer quelques croquis réalisés dans le cadre du cours de stylisme que j’ai pris au premier semestre. Je posterai des versions en couleurs plus tard après quelques retouches, si le coeur vous en dit. ;) J’ai dessiné cinq tenues différentes, mais je ne vous montre que ces trois-ci pour l’instant.

Le thème que j’ai choisi était “Oiseaux, envol”, ce qui n’est peut-être pas évident à travers ces exemples seulement. Le thème est beaucoup plus évident une fois les recherches et le travail final réunis. J’ai eu une bonne note pour ce projet, j’en suis ravie !

Je serai très bientôt en vacances, si tout se passe normalement. J’espère bien être productive cet été !

Hello again! This is another crappy photo of a still life drawing done as uni work. We had to sketch oranges in 1h30 using coloured pencils and/or watercolours.

Bonjour bonjour ! Et voilà une autre photo médiocre d’un dessin de nature morte réalisé pour mes cours à l’uni. On devait dessiner des oranges en 1h30 avec des crayons de couleur et/ou de l’aquarelle.

Hello people! I’m sick today. :C I decided, despite the intensity of my nausea, to do something with the butt-ugly sketch I uploaded the other day (which I have deleted by now, its horribleness was burning my eyes). This is a work in progress.

Hello les gens ! Je suis malade aujourd’hui. :C J’ai décidé, malgré l’intensité débilitante de ma nausée, de faire quelque chose avec le croquis super moche que j’ai uploadé l’autre jour (et que j’ai maintenant effacé, sa laideur me brûlaît les yeux d’une façon ATROCE). Voici donc un aperçu du travail en cours.

Et un autre croquis peu soigné pour les plus patients d’entre vous ! Dessiné en cours, d’ailleurs (en sachant que les cours à l’uni ne permettent que très peu de temps pour lambiner en plein milieu. C’était une occasion rare !) Je suppose qu’il est évident que j’aime beaucoup gribouiller cette demoiselle ? n_n

Hello folks! Since I haven’t posted anything in a while, here’s the wood matrix of my first project for our etching class at my uni! Our theme was “snake”. I had several accidents here and there, and since I was working on it at home, I’m not sure it’ll print out properly… So I’m showing it to you now, before I smear black ink everywhere. If I can manage to print it properly next week, I’ll show you the results!

Salut les gens ! Comme je n’ai rien posté récemment, voilà une photo de la matrice en bois de mon premier projet dans le cadre du TD de gravure à l’uni ! Notre thème était “le serpent”. J’ai eu quelques accidents ici et là, et comme j’ai travaillé chez moi, je ne sais pas si l’impression sera correcte… Alors je vous le montre maintenant, avant d’étaler de l’encre noire partout. Si j’arrive à l’imprimer décemment la semaine prochaine, je vous montrerai le résultat !

This isn’t directly related to my work, but here’s a photo to show my newest acquisition to a few friends : a camera from the late sixties! The batteries and film required to make it function are not produced anymore, but I’m very happy I got it! It’ll make a perfect reference. 8)

Ce n’est pas directement lié à mon travail, mais voici une petite photo pour montrer à quelques amis ce que je viens de recevoir : un appareil photo de la fin des années 60 ! Les piles et le film pour le faire fonctionner ne sont plus fabriqués, mais je suis ravie ! Voilà qui fera une référence parfaite. 8)

Hello again! Here’s another sketch I drew last April I also decided to colour. I hope you’ll like it!

Photos of some uni work, we had to arrange some stuff we had on our table and draw it in an hour and a half each. The first one was drawn today, and the second one a week ago.

Another older sketch worked on with the stumpy pencil! The original drawing is from last march, I believe. I experimented a bit more with colours, hoping it came out alright! n_n

Before submitting a bigger version of this, I’d like your opinion. Do you prefer it with or without transparency?
